What is EBOO?

Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation (EBOO) is currently the most advanced ozone treatment available. It can detoxify 2 liters of blood in a one hour session with a fresh continuous flow of ozone into the blood.

EBOO is similar to dialysis in that a filter is used to clean the blood of bacteria, viruses, fungi, metals, chemicals, and other pathogens.

The blood is taken from an IV catheter in one arm then filtered through a dialysis filter. The ozone is added and the filtered blood with the ozone is returned to the body through an IV catheter in a different vein.

The combination of filtration and ozonation is what makes the treatment unique and effective.

Does It Work?

Ozone was invented by the Germans in the 1800s to treat infectious diseases. Ozone therapy is still being used in Europe today and most of the research done with ozone therapy is being done in Europe.

It has an excellent long term record of safety and efficacy.

Ozone is a molecule containing three atoms of oxygen that is unstable in nature. Although the FDA considers ozone to be a toxic gas with no known useful medical application in specific, adjunctive, or preventive therapy, an article from PubMed.gov (The National Medical Library of Congress) is attached proving the benefits of extracorporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation (EBOO) in patients with peripheral artery disease.

There are over 3000 publications related to the use of ozone in various medical conditions.
